Helena Jansson copied the victory of Khramov: she was ahead of opponents with 42 seconds. She took the lead at the beginning (close to half a minute gap) and didn't lose time after at all, so she won her first gold medal in WOC history. The second place both went for Sweden, Linnea Gustafsson also showed great performance. Same like yesterday Simone Niggli collected bronze again. Signe Soes became fourth; Kathryn Ewels made surprise with her fifth position; and Anni-Maija Fincke got a sixth place.
